This week has been SOOO busy. School has been great so far. Stressful and exciting all at the same time. Next week will be twice as interesting. My only class so far, Pathophysiology, was cut in half today, as my professor had to take a break every half hour to go puke. Turns out her kids passed on a virus which struck right before our class started. So tomorrow is my first really intense day -- five straight hours of class. I'm really looking forward to it, though. I just can't wait to get involved in my work. It's scary and invigorating all at once. After all this time, here I am, finally doing what I've been talking about doing for over a year. Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful support I've gotten this week -- Lizz and Mark especially. If you didn't know already, it means a whole lot to me. This is such a wonderful new beginning in my life, and I can't wait to get on with my future.

I'm exhausted at the moment. It's been a little bit of an adjustment getting used to early rising again, especially after a whole summer of being a night owl. But I'm getting there, and by next week I should be acclimated. So, no crazy details at this very moment, but I'll be back very soon with all the exciting things that have happened in the last week. And in case you're wondering, no, I'm not quite so sad anymore about the personal stuff. I'm learning to rely on my inner strength a little bit more, and trying to find the courage I need to be happy in every aspect of my life. It's difficult, but I know I'm worth it.
