Well, it turns out I was mistaken. I don't get tickets to the World Series. Unfortunately, I read the materials wrong, and the only tickets that were to be provided for Tenth Man Plan holders were to either the ALDS or the ALCS. But hey, at least I can say I was there when it all started to turn around, on the Sunday night of game four. I'm disappointed, sure, but I'll still be in Fenway in spirit.Now is the time when I have to plan out some serious time management. This is what my next week looks like... Tonight I work from five until nine, tomorrow I have poker night at my cousin's house, which will turn into watching game one at my cousin's house. Sunday I have to work from eleven until nine, and then obviously I'm watching game two. Class on Monday, from nine until four (off day for the Sox). Game three on Tuesday. On Wednesday morning I have my second exam in my Nursing Practices class, which is worth a quarter of my grade. Wednesday night I have a date to watch game four. Then this is the part that sucks -- on Thursday, instead of my normal three to eleven clinical, we switched to a day clinical, so I have to be at the hospital at 6:45am. So this is where my time management issues come in... Somewhere between now and Tuesday night, I have to find (make, rather) time to get all my studying in for my exam on Wednesday morning. And somehow, during the day on Wednesday, I need to research my patient for clinical on Thursday. Thursday itself is just going to be a nightmare. If I don't die from exhaustion this week, I think I might just throw a party.
Update Saturday 2:40p: Well, things have worked out in my favor this weekend... The poker game tonight was cancelled, so my afternoon was freed up, and I wasn't put on the schedule for tomorrow, so that means I have all day to study! Or sleep, which might be a little more important considering I didn't go to bed last night until seven o'clock this morning. I'm way too old for this.
