Happy Election Day! As of right now I feel oddly calm with confidence that Kerry will win this. Kind of how I felt at the start of game four of the World Series about the Red Sox chance to win. We'll see what the papers say tomorrow. However, let me just say ahead of time that if Bush is reelected, I will very seriously consider moving out of the country for the next four years. Again, that can be revisited tomorrow. So my weekend was crazy and stressful. But I made a whole lot of money. Between Friday and Sunday, I worked over 30 hours, and I made $500. I made $250 on Sunday alone. Here's a picture of me and the girls (minus two of them). Keep in mind that this picture was taken at about 1am, after we had been working for almost fifteen hours that day. When I told one of my friends who was bouncing on Sunday night that I made more than twice as much money as all of the other girls, his response was "I wonder why..." I saw the new boy again last night. We had a great dinner at the Parrish Cafe on Boylston Street. We're going out again on Saturday. I think I might like him a little bit. He's cute in a boyish way, and he makes me laugh. Plus, like I said after our first date, I feel very comfortable around him. I just wish he could walk... the crutches kind of limit our realm of possible activities. Oh well. He should be mobile in about two weeks. I think I can stick it out.Tonight is all about catching up on schoolwork I've been neglecting for the last week. I'm going to sit with MSNBC on mute and write up notes for Pathophysiology for a study group I'm in, and then I'm going to start a paper I have due on Thursday for my MedSurg clinical -- a ten page case study using Gordon's Health Patterns. I've done all the research, it's just a matter of typing it all up, and I don't want to have to rush it tomorrow night. We'll see if my practical side beats out my procrastinator side...
