The Keys to Your Heart
|

You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.
In love, you feel the most alive when your lover is creative and never lets you feel bored.
You'd like to your lover to think you are stylish and alluring.
You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless, cold-blooded, and sarcastic.
Your ideal relationship is open. Both of you can talk about everything... no secrets.
Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.
You think of marriage something you've always wanted... though you haven't really thought about it.
In this moment, you think of love as something you thirst for. You'll do anything for love, but you won't fall for it easily.

That was my one concession to Valentine's Day, although it's already passed. My Valentine's Day was a little dragged out... NB's been working down in Philadelphia for the past couple of months, so we had our Valentine's dinner on Saturday, and then cozied up on Sunday in his apartment during the snowstorm. He left first thing Tuesday, and when I came home from classes that afternoon, I found a dozen red roses waiting for me, with a really sweet note. Sigh. I've got a good one...
The puppy is amazing, and fun, and just a joy to be around. I decided against the litter training, and we're going full force with the housebreaking. He's really starting to get better, since I've gotten him on a really strict shedule. He still has a mistake here and there, but not anything too bad. It's working out just fine. He's growing SOOO fast -- he gained a pound and a half in ten days. His next appointment at the vet is at the beginning of next month, and I can't wait to see how much he's grown. NB said even he can see the difference week to week, after not seeing him for five or six days.
We're having a lot of fun... The dog continues to stop traffic, and just about every person that walks by him on the street. He's got personality galore, and admirers by the dozens. I've had so many offers to babysit, it's unreal. I might just take them up on it, what with my vacation coming up in two and a half weeks! His first overnight alone with Grandma (and more importantly, no Mama!) is tomorrow, since I have to head up to Kennebunk for another two day bout with the internship. And this weekend is my brother and his fiancee's engagement party, so there will be lots of relatives around, and excitement for him. Yay socialization! He loves attention, so I don't think I'll ever have to worry about him being a fearful dog -- he follows strangers down the street when we go for walks. And speaking of, it's time to take him out again (fourth time today!)...
